Restless nights, heartaches, frequent nighttime cryings and loss of appetite. These are just some of the aftershocks of what we call BROKE UPs. Teen-agers do really experience these all. But the question is... how to get over this?
Broke-ups are not easy to get over. It may take days, weeks, or even months before one can recover from a break-up. Here are some tips on how to really deal with break-ups.
1. Cry. If you can't really take it, just cry this out. This may help you to really express your feeling and even makes you feel better. It may be nice to look for someone to share what you really feel at this time. They may comfort you and give you advice on what to do.
2. Don't think too much of it. Thinking too much may cause you too much stress. Try to do other alternative things to forget your ex and spend all your time in it (e.g. writing a song, reading books, drawing, etc.). Engage your self with other interesting activities and try to enjoy it. This may help you to get over all your problem.
3. Do not establish communication with your ex until you are ready. It may be right to give your partner and yourself the space you need until you find yourselves. Try to think over if you two really have the chance to be together again or your relationship will no longer work.
4. After you have the answers with all your questions, talk to each other. Communication is really important to a relationship. This may make-up or ruin every relationship.
5. Reconcile, forgive, and forget. After the two of you have talk to each other, try to forgive your partner. Try to give trust again even though trust is not easy to give back again to the person who ruins it.
6. Decide whether to be in a relationship again or just be friends. Make it clear to your partner what your relationship will be.
These are just mere tips. The decision is always yours to follow these or not. Just always remember to be careful with all the decisions you are to make. :)
